The Burlington Democratic Party is committed to protecting your right to vote and helping as many as our neighbors register to vote, change their registration, and reach the ballot box. 

We cannot afford to sit out elections. Let's vote!! 

Register to Vote

The fastest and easiest way to register to vote is through the VT Secretary of State's Office. The link to their page is here. You can also fill out a paper registration form (which you can download here). You can mail or drop off the form to the City Clerk's Office at City Hall. The Clerk's Office also has registration forms. City Hall is located at 149 Church Street.

Change your voting address

The fastest and easiest way to change information on your voter file, such as an address or name change, is through the VT Secretary of State's Office. The link to their page is here. You can also change your information by completing this form and returning it to the Clerk's Office at City Hall. Their contact information can be found here

Request an Absentee / Early Ballot

Voting early is easier than ever. You can request an absentee (also known as an early ballot) through the Secretary of State's Office here. You may also fill out and return this form to the Clerk's Office at City Hall.

Election Language Support

Accessibility to the ballot box is critical. The City of Burlington has worked with the Secretary of State and the Multilingual Task Force to provide translated voter informational content that is available for use by the public. You can learn more and access the information here
